This is no dance class! The whole purpose of the Metafit workout is to push the body both in terms of muscle fatigue and heart rate to the limit in short bursts. We are trying to mimic that human instinct to ‘run for your life’ every muscle should be exhausted after the session in order for the body to send the post workout recovery into overdrive! Metafit is not a cardio class, so DO NOT PACE YOURSELF the whole idea is to work to YOUR maximum. The intervals are meant to be flat out and it is meant to hurt, that is the effect we are trying to achieve! 10-15 minutes of high intensisty is plenty of time to achieve a metabolic conditioning effect, but only if you are working flat out!
